He is a descendant of the greatest race horse ever, Secretariat he has Secretariats blood running through his veins. Secretariat of course has to date records in the Derby, Preakness and Belmont.

I know the horse buffs know this but thought some of you might find this piece of history interesting.

I believe (could be wrong as I havent fact checked) that Smarty Jones was the last triple crown candidate that was a descendant of Secretariat.

Summer Squall should also be mentioned. Half brother to AP Indy, he was the dam sire
of the above mentioned Summer Bird. He is also the sire of Charismatic who won the Derby
and was horse of the year in 1999. He died in 2009
