guess im not up to date on my northeast usa geography as i didn't know that about NE and Brooklyn!

maybe i should have said not name after a place you can actually visit (NE/Brooklyn/etc.!)

Using the original criteria I'd say yes, and then one could include the Carolina Hurricanes as well.

just meant that people not affiliated with that part of the country probably don't know they aren't cities. but based off the name you think they are.

bascially golden state seems to be the only one not named after a place of residency like a city/state/province/region/borough (whatever the fukk that is)
