Braves benching nearly everyone vs Jose Fernandez

Justin Upton is not in the Braves' starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Marlins.

Both of the Upton brothers -- along with third baseman Chris Johnson and second baseman Dan Uggla -- will take a seat against Marlins ace Jose Fernandez. It's a white flag of sorts from Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez.

Losing BJ or Dan the Fan isn't a big deal, but I'd rather have J Up in there than Doumit or Schafer for sure
