He is finished. Man Utd will be probably pulling for Jurgen Klopp ahead on Van Gaal and Diego Simeone. Not sure, if it'll happen.
yee i guess klopp will join along with marco reus, reunited with kagawa

dont they have to pay out heaps of money? I remember he was on a long contract?
Yes i imagine hell get a very nice payoff and will get a job elsewhere at a team like spurs or newcastle straight away. Not the end of the world for him!

6 year deal doesnt even finish 1 year, hard to argue with how bad they were this year, moyes should get a decent job anyways next season, maybe he was in over his head a bit

I would be surprised knowing the contract they have with Moyes...and knowing the patience they showed with Fergie when he took over and had problems. Also the Glazers are known cheap skates on contracts....coupled with Klopp having a contract with Dortmund it would be a trainwreck from a financial standpoint. Manchester United will have to pay out tons of cash this Summer to try and get out of this mess...and with no Champions League football...there's no quick fix

ok saw it. it's over. all over twitter. apparently he "left the club" more like booted out.
Manchester United have sacked David Moyes less than one season into his six-year contract and put Ryan Giggs in charge until a permanent replacement is appointed.

I think there was something in Moyes' contract about Champs League football being a must. He probably wont get as big a pay-off as I thought considering this

For a contract that long there would def. have to be some sort of clause to stop Man Utd paying through the ringer if it didn't work out

If United sign Giggs as trainer they will suck even more. I like Klopp for a long term trainer.

Actually MU announced that David Moyes has "left the club". Personally, he shoul have stayed in Everton. Both transfers during his reign, especially Marouane Fellaini for 27.5 were highly questionable and in my opinion counterproductive. Good luck Giggsy!!!
These stats were interesting:
- Lowest Premier League points tally in club history
- Never finished below third in the Premier League until now (1st 13 times; 2nd 5 times; 3rd 3 times)
- Three defeats in a row for the first time since 2001
- Eleven Premier League defeats
- First home defeat to Swansea
- First home defeat to Newcastle since 1972
- First home defeat to West Brom since 1978
- First league defeat to Stoke since 1984
- First home defeat to Everton since 1992
- First time Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool have done the double over United in the Premier League
- First time United have conceded a first-minute goal in the Premier League
- First defeat on New Year's Day in 20 years
- Knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round (happened just once under Ferguson)
...OUCH

Yeah to cover his gambling debts! But if they continue to lose every week they'll have to get rid
