Clippers trying for best record in franchise history. Id bet the Knicks points vs Brooklyn who wouldnt mind losing to face toronto first rd instead of chicago

No, they don't need it and would need to win out and have OKC lose one, doubtful they even care. They can still get the franchise record for wins by simply taking one more, doesn't have to be tonight.

But which would be easier tonight vs Nuggets or tomorrow at Portland?

To be honest, after what I've seen the last couple of days, I don't think anybody cares about records, the seeding is pretty much set, and they all know the real season is starting this weeknd. Plus, guys need to get and stay healthy. Brooklyn will be rsting guys tonight, look what the Heat, Indy SAS etc. have been doing. Is OKC killing themselves??? Winning in the playoffs is everything. Just my thought. BOL tonight

But if Nets drop to sixth and beat Toronto, they would get Miami in second round. No team wants to face Miami in playoffs, ESPECIALLY Nets after sweeping them in regular season. Heat would get payback in major way there.

The Clips will go hard tonight as will OKC in their last game.

Sooner or later somebody has to play them.

Right but Nets could avoid them until Eastern Finals (if teams get that far) by staying fifth.

Jason Kidd still has that player's mindset. He doesn't want to tank games. He wants to win them. Still, 6.5 is too much. Take the Knicks.

Means nothing, if anything it will fire Miami up even more. The Heat's season begins this weekend.

Clips will win today. That will force Okc to play KD and Westbrook tomorrow as it's a must win against Pistons, no rest for them.

Since Clips play 2.5 hours later, they will know the result of Okc game. If they win, then Clips starters will rest. If they lose, there is a chance they will want to play for a win. It's a win-win situation for Clips to get a win today.

this is silly. the nets have been the better team for most of the 2nd half. to say that the heat can just turn it on in the playoffs and beat the nets is hard to believe. Miami is just not as good as in past years.

No it's not, they do it every year. I think this was third straight season that Heat finished under .500 ATS during regular season, and you saw how much better they were in the playoffs the last two years. Miami will be fine and should win the East.
