Never said it was the "wrong side." Said it was a bad bet given the juice you laid (which we have no idea what # you got it at, because like usual, you didn't bother to post it).

Something tells me you've lost your ass betting baseball over the course of your gambling career. There may be "only winners and losers," as you put it in simpleton language, but you and I both know (or at least I hope you know, given you're 130 years old) that juicing up in spots like this given the matchup is not a winning strategy in the long run.

You backed the Tigers, but posted Verlander, like it was his game to win or lose. Fact of the matter is, the Royals are a more complete team than the Tigers with a better overall bullpen. If you want to keep putting -150 or whatever # you got on the line in spots like this, be my guest. It won't last.

I'm a Tiger die-hard, have been for over 30 years, I'm glad they won, but they were very fortunate and so were you.
