8.5 is too many points at this stage of tourney.
Tomorrow night the bet is Michigan St. I made a huge mistake & invested in Virginia when the brackets came out. My error was putting too much weight on the ACC schedule. I thought that Virginia was the best team in the best conference. They were ACC Title holders & went on to win the ACC Tourney. They beat all the good teams. N.C. Duke Fla St. N.C.St etc. As it turns out some of these ACC teams weren't as strong as I thought, at least not in the Big Dance. North Carolina went out in the last round. Duke was beaten by Mercer. MERCER. N.C. St didn't even make it through the play-in game & Florida St didn't even make the Tournament at all.
Like alot of bettors, I severely over-estimated the strength of the ACC & the only ACC team remaining is Virginia. They are the next to go & they will be beat my Michigan St.

- Spartans are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
- Spartans are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
- Spartans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.
- Spartans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.
Michigan St.'s only loss, that in my opinion was a "bad loss" was the Illinois game. They played poorly. Payne scored 2 FG's & Denzel scored one bucket. This won't happen on Friday. Both losses to Michigan were well played hard fought games. I remember watching the Georgetown game & thinking to myself, "How many more calls can the Hoyas get from these horrible refs, who are trying to make this a close Neutral Site game?" The Big 10 is clearly the superior conference this year & I am basing my analysis on this & the fact that Virginia has shown moments of weakness already in this years Tourney while Michigan St. hasn't blinked.
