Lobos should have a huge second half. They will even cover the original spread I think.

I think so also stanford scored 20 of their 32 points in the 1st 5 minutes the lobos will grind out a 7 point win

If they can prevent Stanford from running wild early on in 2nd half they should be okay. Spend a couple timeouts early if necessary.

You obviously didn't have NM going deep last year like I did, when they pulled this exact same shit in the first round.
A bunch of no-heart choke artists. I should've gotten out of my ML bet when I had the chance. Got NM at -155 this morning and it closed 70 cents higher. Kiss of death.

Dude... "no heart choke artists?" That's a pretty lousy thing to call some college kids because you lost a bet. Come on.

As as much as I like the Lobos, their style of play is not suited for the tournament. They constantly are trying to force the ball down low to their two bigs. It isn't working, Tournament is usually won with outside shooting and guard play. Sounds wrong, but it's kinda true.

They're playing like zombies today. Again. Second year in a row one and done.
It's funny what you seem to take exception to sometimes. I see things 1000 times worse than this at SBR posted about every 10 minutes.

Anyone remember when they were a 3 seed and got blown out by 11th seeded Washington in the second round? I actually think they were a dog in that game, but either way this team chokes in postseason play.

This Stanford team is trash. No reason for NM to struggle in this game.

Stanford isn't that bad imo. Randle is a really good player and they have quality players, but NM still shouldn't lose. It's embarrassing. Embarrassed a few years ago against Washington and embarrassed last year to Harvard.

Selection committee knew what they were doing making this team a 7 (when on paper it seems like they should've been a 5 or even a 4). Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice (or three times), shame on me.

Don't really care that I lost money on Lobos, more pissed because I'm in 3 big money brackets and had Lobos going to the Elite 8 in one bracket, and sweet 16 in the other two.

Coiner I actually think it's more that Stanford is a good team.
No doubt I agree the Lobos did not show up today. That said, I've liked this Stanford team all year. I hated this matchup for New Mexico because I liked them to make a run this year. You can argue that New Mexico was actually NOT underseeded (most felt that they deserved closer to a 5) but I don't think there's any doubt that Stanford was underseeded. Granted, their resume wasn't great - but as far as the eye test goes, I've liked that team all year. Very balanced squad.

Same I had New Mexico going far in my bracket. Man Kirk and Williams really let there team down. Those two avg about 30 points a game for them and they scored like 6 points. What a joke.

Stanford plays in a real conference, maybe thats why they sometimes look like shit. They get tested routinely.
MWC is a conference on par with the West Coast Conference and the MVC.

I felt pretty confident that whoever won this game could make a deep run. Both Lobos and Stanford are very underrated and stacked with talent. I felt that both Stanford and Lobos were under-seeded. Anyone who watched the Pac this year knew that Stanford was the third best team behind Zona and UCLA.

Dude I never troll but stop with these moronic "wannabesharp" threads, you are a regular loser, stop pretending like you know something and try to understand a game first, then research + common sense and you'll break even soon enough...

Stanford is vastly undersized compared to NM. Lobo big men should've had a field day. Part of the problem was Kendall Williams deciding to play like a ghost, too. Just a horrible gameplan against a team that isn't known for being well prepared either.
I don't care how "good" the Pac-12 was vs. the Mountain West, this is a bad loss because they were physically and emotionally ill-prepared. Period.

Assuming Kansas wins here, gotta think Stanford will be a live dog on Sunday. I'd guess KU favored by 7.

I think you're right. Without Embid probably closer to 5.5/6.
Well they have to win first, right now down 9 to EKU lol.
