#42That's because it's only played in like 5 states. How good would ur CFL be without USA players?Comment -

#43Well, let's take a look at the populations of U.S. states that play hockey:
Michigan - 9.8 million
Wisconsin - 5.7 million
Minnesota - 5.4 million
Colorado - 5.2 million
NE States (not Massachusetts) - 5.2 million
SD/ND - 1.5 million
Alaska - 0.7 million
I've already reached the population of Canada, and I didn't even consider many pockets of the country that plays....Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc.
Not really sure what your point is???
And who gives two sh!ts about the CFL.......if I were the US, I wouldn't even want to be associated with it, lol.Comment -

You're comparing Canada's entire population playing it's national sport to the entire population of US states in which hockey is semi popular and probably a second sport for many players, saying those populations are about equal, then bragging about a 1-0 victory?
Congrats I guessComment -

#45I would say hockey is #1 or a close #2 in all the states I listed. I'm sure it's up there in cities like Buffalo, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philly, Cleveland, Toledo as well. I'm still struggling to find the point to your post.Comment -

#47I don't recall bragging about the 1-0 win either?? Let's just drop this.....and I'll root for the USA to bring home the bronze. By the way, I'm a dual citizen living in the US.......so I wish well for the US in everything, except of course when they compete with Canada.Comment -

#48O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
I love that anthem. Don't know many but this is my favorite by a wide margin. As a USA boy want to say congrats in both men and woman's hockey to our northern neighbors.Comment
