You know what? This was probably the best reason.
If you think about it, Turner is going to win them a few games before the season ends pretty much.
Now they can be even worse and compete for the lottery better.

All year the new term to use has been tanking all I hear here on radio everywhere. Nobody is tanking. People act as if a prime A.I. is on the Sixers, they arnt gonba win many games anyway and have already won more than anyone expected this season.
