give us some tips. I've sat behind the away teams bench on Devils games a few times and both times I was out of things to say after the first period. I ran out of stuff to say way too early. I could really use some expansion in my vocabulary as well as specific things to say. I also go to alot of MLB games as well so would be nice if I can use it their as well.

First and foremost here, nobody is holding Smart accountable for rule #1 or #2 in big time sports and that is you DO NOT RESPOND to any utterances or profanity from the opposing fan base ESPECIALLY if you are playing on the road!! Doesn't every college coach worth half his salt express this in the first team meeting of every year? Smart has issues and surprised to see so many here siding with him. He better grow up in hurry with all of those (diminishing?) millions on the table.
It does not matter what TTRR fan#1 said at all... even if he said 'you are a FngN and YO MAMA is a FN!" Smart cannot respond to that, just the way it is. It would be horrific if fan said that, and I don't know that he said anything racial in the first place, but Smart has absolutely NO RIGHT to charge the stands and he needs to be suspended to set precedent.
BTW, how is it that so many of you posting here KNOW that jerk fan said something racial? I've been watching espn all morning, sadly, and they have not reported anyting beyond rumor and speculation. Were you people there at game?Comment -

Somebody else had to have heard it.
