robert, i guarantee you this has happened to every poster here 1000x.. it's part of the game. it's probably happened to me 34,284 times in my career. i liked it, then decide at last minute to lay off for some reason. then i watch game and hope it loses, only for them to win by 29 pts. frustrating as hell robert.
robert, just shake it off and start fresh tomorrow.. don't lose your composure now.. you are a champion at this game. robert, you are not only the pom here at sbr, but you are a professional gambler..

why are you pissed about a game you have no money on?
more logical to be pissed on a game you are losing terribly and have money on....

Great point Milf. I was wondering the same thing. This guy is going to end up throwing his TV, cell phone, computer, or all three through the window.

He has a very valid reason to be upset. It is a frustrating thing.
It's not that he's physcially losing money, but the potential for winnings it would of brought them does not exist since he did not pull the trigger.
Shortstop, Milf.....if you had 30 grand and tried to submit a bet online, and it didn't go through because your computer shutdown and then got taken off the board before you can get it up and running....and the pick wins.....you just lost 30 grand. Not 30 grand physically lost right there and then, but the 30k in winnings it would of brought you had you done what you originally wanted to do.

you guys don't understand.. trust me, bobby is right.. money that you should have won is like money lost. if your system had it as a bet and you laid off, then it comes off your total profit for the year.. you can't miss these winners when they win and you dont play em. and just like when you dont play the game and it loses, it's like a win, cause in this business, money saved is money earned. as gamblers, you boys should know this by now.

we actually wrote the exact same post at the exact same minute.. but i am shocked these guys dont know this.. just last week i had my bets ready to be put in... but my power went out and there was no way to get to a pc on time and put em all in.. when the power came back, i saw that i would have gone 16-5 that day.. do you know how much $$ that power outage cost me.. do you think i didnt care because i had no money on em?? i didn't sleep well that night on acct of this.. i lost 0, but i cost myself thousands.. ..
this has happened to me many many times.. situations where i missed a game by 2.3 seconds, or i thought game was 730, but it started at 7 pm and they would always win.. it really ruins my nights these things. when you dont bet a winner that you were wanting to bet, it's money lost.. no difference than losing a real bet for $$$.

I didn't know Bobby's electric went out. I must have have missed something here. Cell phones work when the power is out. I thought he laid off placing the bet because he wasn't confident it would hit. I must have misunderstood his post.

No, electric going out was an example Shortstop. That didn't happen in Bobby's case but it goes to show if for some reason you back out of a bet at last minute whether you choose to or circumstances around you prevent the bet from being put in...and it wins....it's a loss and something worth getting frustrated about.
