nutser we had a dozen girls in, every one of them tested in the gutter. Even jojo's straight stuff got nothing (you do realize she's an actress right?? that that's not how she really talks, that's just her character, right? that she's from california and her natural speaking voice is classic SoCal, right?? right?? please tell me that didn't fly over your head......)
but then someone in the room asked her to "boat it up" - industry speak for stereotypical immigrant stuff, you know "just off the boat" - and guess what? HOME RUN. It tested out of the park. so we went with it, and the first run of it got twice the ratings of our highest-end expectations
jojo get the ratings. why? i don't know. why do the kardashians get the ratings? i don't know, but i know what the reports say when they come in every week
