Kenpom is attempting a run at it, still trust hoopsnerd's rankings more, but Kenpoms are getting better over the years.



I obviously like the list. Prefer metrics and this one has the right guy at the top with the right cast of characters for the most part.

Coin flip this year, any of these players could be considered POY. Creighton finally played a decent team, at best, on the road and look what happened. I wouldn't know who to give POY to at this point. Doug will beat up on bums all year but he's not the best player.

Kid looks like his lower half is dead since entering conference play. It's like white boy jumpers.

Legs are tired. Still a long season. If Parker turns it around, Duke can make a run as long as they avoid big teams.

Freshman wall is very real, but these guys at the top are so well conditioned from a young age by their handlers I doubt it is that.

No idea what it is, but he isn't getting near as much bounce or lift. I think Jabari is a helluva scorer and makes Duke a top 25 team by himself, the high major version of Doug McDermott, but conference play has fukked him up and it isn't as simple as scheming.

Duke is running into "big" teams. If they played everyone who was their height they might be undefeated lol. They mostly lose games because of their lack of size and its so visible. This team is a top 20 team and thats about it.

Even though I hate Syracuse, I would like to nominate a guy that no one really talks about: Tyler Ennis.

Jabari Parker is my favorite player and Adrien Payne is my second favorite, but Payne has been hurt for a little while and I think Jabari will be a better pro player than a college player (because there is really no defense in the NBA).
