i hate horse racing with a passion. i can't name you one track, not even meadowlands.. the only reason i have heard of meadowlands is because the devils played there (nhl).. i had no idea it was even a track...

i live 5 min for a major horse racing track here in montreal, and i've only been there 2 times in my life.

i dont know how you guys can watch that crap.. boring, and you can't win in it long term. IMPOSSIBLE.. house advantage is impossible to overcome. every horse race guy i know lost it all and their families too..

if you can read the racing form i would say you can pick the winner or hit the board 60% of the time

Ever been to ATOKAD Park in South Sioux City,Nebraska?How about Columbus Races in Columbus,Nebraska,Fonner Park Grand Island,Nebraska,Lincoln,Fort Pierre,South Dakota,Brown County Fairgrounds Aberdeen,South Dakota and Assiniboia Downs Winnipeg,Manitoba Canada.Assiniboia is the best because within minutes you have the best strip joints on the planet. How about old defunct Park Jefferson in North Sioux City,South Dakota.A real bull ring bush league dump but hall of fame trainers Bill Mott and De Wayne Lucas got their starts there.I think Hall of famer Jack Van Berg used to send his glue factory rendering plant nags there too.


Lots of good looking female jockeys around these tracks.Shawna Barber?Anyone know who she was or is?She used to break bones riding on 2k claimers and she could have posed for Playboy.

As for racetracks. The old Greenwood Raceway here in Toronto was the best. Closed in 1993 though. As for modern day ones, Fort Erie is a nice one to spend a day at. Of course it might not be long for this world either.

Del Mar is a great track and about 5 mins from my house, I liked Golden Gate fields as well but I could have been biased on my trips there considering I knew a great lady whos family owned the place.
