Really? Come on guy, Redd hasn't played for the Bucks in years. He's retired now!

People talk about tanking every year but forget that the worst team(s) don't always get the first pick. Last year Cavs got the top pick and they had the 3rd worst record. Year before that the Hornets had the 4th worst record and got the top pick. In 2011 Cavs got the first pick in the lottery from the Clippers, who had the 8th worst record. Tanking might guarantee a top 5 pick, never the first.

The MLB? 5 outta 15 teams make the playoffs from each division. You generally can not predict who will make the playoffs, even half way through the year. 3 outta those 5 do not have to play in a 1 game series which is a huge advantage. Usually comes down to the last 4 games of the season and all playoff teams are dangerous in the post season.

Now the NHL and NBA just allow everybody in so I see your point there. Waters down the playoffs when you have the Heat playing the Bucks first round. Same goes for NHL I believe. But it is money making. That's why the MLB added that 5th wild card.

Detroit is the most fundamentally unsound team this year.

WAY TOO MUCH talent on that team to lose the games they do. They should all be close.
