I think its a major security flaw when you can't change your password online and have to call a clerk do it. Even in online chat they want your password and i was asking a question that was not specific to my account and was just a generic question about the site. The clerk in online chat refuse to help me and said no help could be given unless I provided acc# and password. I said thanks but I would rather it go unanswered than. I would never keep much money in a book that has security like this. I know there are probably countless people that can access my password on all sites but i figure you might as well do what you can to reduce the risk. I know they have to verify who i am but i feel its a must to give the customer the ability to change it online. Reminds me of a pokerroom i used to use, i once called them to get my password and they only asked my address and phone number than gave it to me over the phone.
I really dislike when books like betcris have poor password security

#2I have to agree here scotty...frustrating that betjamaica and cascade are the same way...pinny, matchbook, mansion and bodog (my embarrasing book) let you do it online...very seamless...Comment -

I always feel 'uneasy' when I have to give my password to a clerk in online chat .Comment -

#4yeah another "great" thing at Cris, every Joe there knows my password prolly. I would never keep balances of 10k+ there like i do with Pinny or Cascade...some day i might find out Joe played BJ and lost quite a bit of my balance.Comment -

#6A book I play at doesn't allow numbers in their passwords. That's kind of scary.Comment -

#7that really is rickysteve, severly limits the number of variations of a password...you know there are computer geeks out there generating ID's and passwords from some software program...Comment -

#8I signed up with Beverly Hills Bookie years ago, before they were bought out by MVP Sportsbook, and after I signed up, they sent me an email from a Hotmail account asking me to submit a password!Comment -

#10That book was truly bizarre. I decided I'd just deposit a few hundred and check it out, and I went something like 12-3 on my first week of bets, mostly $100 and $200 bets with a couple $500 ones, netting a total profit of perhaps $2000 or $2500. They then disabled my ability to bet overnight lines and prevented me from betting football until Thursday nights! I guess they thought anyone who could hit 75% over 15 picks is some sort of wiseguy.Comment
