Also, on the topic of CRIS, I’m sure it’s been mentioned, but if you bet baseball at all you’ll probably want to play at Diamond instead. That’s CRIS’s book that’s basically an exact clone of the regular CRIS site except that they have a dime line in baseball.
I've played at DSI (common theme: where havent' I played?) and never had any problems. Although they look similar to Cris (and import the lines from Cris) they are a separately owned company.
Re: Cris line moves... I have put in bets there and seen the line move warning, but I have never had a problem with a bet being lost.

The Cris line move problem only occurs if there are two price changes happening, the first one after entering the bet amount, you get a warning, then the second one after entering password. I am sure there is a bug in their software that once you give it permission to create a open bet on a changed price, it has green light to use whatever the current price is, even it is changed again. I won't say it happens every time in such situation, but it is common to have a software bug like that if such situation is not completely tested on.

I also try to make the withdrawal early if possible, as the cutoff time seemed to keep changing on me. (One week I called in the late afternoon and they said it was only good until 4:00 EST. Then the next time I called at 3:45 EST and they said it’s only good until 3:00, etc. The most recent time they told me it goes by when they get around to processing it rather than when I request it, so even though I was calling at something like 1:30 or 2:00 EST, if they said if they didn’t get to it by the end of their business day, they’d send it to me on Monday and charge me. As it happens they did get to it on Friday, but all the more reason one should try to get one’s requests in early.)
Well, I requested a payout at 9:40am EST today, so hopefully that made the cutoff. Also confirmed on live chat, still don't expect it to be processed any time soon.

That's an unusual situation, and I could see how a programmer could overlook that. Sloppy, but possible.
If this happens to you, will you give me the details (Ticket number, and time the wager is made)? I'll be happy to discuss this with Cris if I can get a solid example.

The problem is it's impossible to prove. I detailed out the same thing in my post at the beginning of the thread. I wanted -2.5 -110 line changes to -2.5 -120 ok so I type my password a second time and the confirmation is on -3 -120. I hit the back button all I want I can see the wording exactly as I saw it the 1st time but how on Earth do you present that as proof to Cris. They could be random screen snaps for all they care. It doesn't prove that I typed my password and hit confirm only to get screwed.

Maybe it's time to just start phoning in bets to CRIS. They changed a line on me the other night, I went to bet Peng Shuai at +125, they said +120, so I went and bet it at Pinnacle for +121 instead.
BTW, my cashout was processed in 4 hours today.

They got me too. I tried to bet my $260 balance on last 4 innings of todays Oakland game over 3.5, price was +130, it came back as changed to +145, I'm OK with that, so I type in password, it says bet exceeds balance. Bet was not taken. I did not get the message you get that says something like:
"your bet was correctly placed"
It showed a balance of $260.
This was during the bottom of the fifth, you only have a few minutes to bet.
I didn't want to dick around with a malfunctioning site, so I bet it at DSI, for $300 risk.
Later I log into CRIS, and had a loser on the 1st bet in my history, and a zero balance.
Not very happy with them, right now !

Ok, this confirms when using Cris software:
1) Do not accept a changed price.
2) Do check open bets immediately after a bet is accepted.

That should be sufficient.

Doug,
Hope everything is resolved for you. I've been asking and pushing for a response about these errors from CRIS as you can see in this thread, but nothing except the utterly useless "we can't do anything; it's our software". LOL.
