there were a few that were questionable assist.
one example:
Blake passes to Roy on the wing.
Roy takes 2 dribbles to the hoop and scores
I dont know the definition of assist but I think that is stretching it.

better then hockey's definition... NBA tends to be a lot more liveral in handing out assists then ncaa does...

I've always thought NHL had the most straight forward definition of an assist
