They always choke against the elite teams. But, sometimes teams can rally around a new coach and play totally differently, that's the x-factor here, imho.

Phoenix has scored 140 points in 3 straight games. Problem is they were playing Clippers twice and OKC in those 3 games.
But that streak did coincide with the new coach.
So, either the line is inflated because of the 3 140 point game streak and Boston tears Phoenix up.
Or, Phoneix is for real.
I think it comes down to - was the old coach doing something wrong that could be fixed and did the new coach fix it?

EXACTLY. Pheonix still choked against the great teams even under D'Antoni though.

i love this, Suns score a boat load of points against 2 teams that couldn't stop the five of us posting in this thread from putting up a 100 and suddenly Suns are legit? Wow, Amare is gone, this team has no chance of anything, they are going to have a wakeup call today when they face a team that can shut their offense down.

Old coach stressed defense and new coach went back to the run and gun. Does not mean they beat Boston but is the reason they are scoring more.
