well on the podcast he did remind everyone that they used to train together and that he helped rampage negotiate his first deal with the ufc. not sure how much of that negotiation shit is true but he seemed pretty hungry to win this fight, and even said "vegas is underestimating me, a lot of my fans are going to have a lot of money after this fight". so he is talking the talk, and you want to hear that if you like ortiz. however, i'm not sure that he can deliver. his last fight with forrest griffin was pretty sad. i think that was his last fight. of course all these charges i have levied against ortiz also go for rampage, and this dude...not sure he has cared about mma in awhile. it's a weird dynamic, i think tito wants this more but don't know that he still has it in him to get it done.

Good point to look at. Way I see it is this. First the shape of these two. Just like you mentioned about Ortiz. He looks like he should have stayed retired to me.

When Quinton left Ufc, he was pissed at White. When he signed his deal with Bellator, all I saw was how Rampage is motivated again. Loves mma again, and wanted to prove something to the world of mma. He is in fighting shape. Only way I see him losing is if he throws the fight. So unlikely though. Jackson wants to make this pay per view huge for Bellator. Make a major statement about the current status of his mma career by a demolishing of Ortiz that leaves the fans wanting more.

The guy was relevant as a fighter almost 10 years ago the last time round. Guy went 2-7-1 in the last 8 years or so (HOLY FUKK HE BEAT KEN SHAMROCK!!!), can't fight worth shit anymore. He certainly got more opportunities, money, and options than 99% of the guys in the business. That whiny baby needs to go away.
