It looks like his elbow hits Molina's glove. I don't think the angle they kept showing on TV was a good angle to see it.

Yep. Also, Ellis didn't argue the call. He acted like he was out. The side view it looks like Ellis' elbow hits Molina's glove.

And to the guy that said the umps were on the Cards, if they were, why were they giving Greinke strikes that were 6 inches off the plate low and outside. Some of those were unhittable and out of the zone according to K-zone.

kind of an unwritten rule if the throw beats the runner and the catcher blocks the plate and gets run over but hangs onto the ball. umps will say he is out
