I just don't think that using the word "so" is an appropriate qualifier. The way you state it is as if being "from toronto" naturally qualifies you to be privy to info "behind the doors".

Just saying how the term could have been applied just as easy to people from (my example) Ukraine...but they weren't called WOPs or all immigrants with no documentation would be WOPs but thats not the case.
