Hedging Scenario - Advice please

Okay so I did a 2 team parlay for

Seahawks ML -160 over 49ers
and
NY Giants +1 at +110 over Panthers

its $400 to win $958

now i'm starting to get nervous about the Giants vs Panthers game and it does not help that i'm seeing 95% of bets coming in on the Giants...

so my thought was to bet $275 on
Carolina -1 to win $250

that way worst case scenario i only lose $150 and if Giants win i still win $683

what do yall think ???

You're having some loss aversion. If you really don't feel good about the game anymore, do it, but I think you hold steady or don't make any more parlays.

i just wish the game would hurry up and get here. i cant stop thinking about it and i'm going to the game and will be drunk as fukk and being drunk and having lost $400 might make it tough to be in a good mood

Lot of people say never hedge, I say hedge. Would I rather have 0 or 500 or take 250 and not worry? I'll take 250 all day everyday.

I'd wait until half time and hope Giants are up a Touch down, then take -3 or whatever the panthers line is and hope to cash it both.
I would never hedge a 2 team parlay...on the other hand if this was a 3 or 4 team parlay (and obviously the last leg) its totally different, I'd hedge without a doubt.

Seeing 95% of bets on the Panthers should make you feel good about your play IMO.

i tend to over analyze stuff.

i was drunk when i hit submit parlay.

The Seahawks part of the bet was the last minute part.

originally i was going to take the Giants in this game. Been thinking about this game for awhile.

But now that the first part has hit and i've had time to think about this play some more ...

And i stream the panthers local radio , they used to be my favorite team. ive never heard the panthers get bashed as bad as they have this week by the local media..

if they arent fired up this week they have no pulse.

They are talking about firing ron rivera if they lose this one.

they are also talking about trading Cam Newton like the Browns traded Richardson...

i just thought it might be smart to hedge b/c if i lose this bet i'm down to my last $275
