Any team is desperate if you look at it hard enough as a player who loves the game.
Oakland is desperate for a win too but Wolff the owner isn't saying it, they know damn well a ws appearance would get them a new stadium, you think the owners don't get a cut on the sequel to a Hollywood film? Think again, and I'm sure Mr. Pitt would be all about it.

Tigers got swept by Oakland and your still on their d ? Nah, not this time. If when Oak wins division, they will take that first round with home field advantage, attendance or not, it helps.

I took the Dodgers to beat the Rays right before the All-star break before everyone started jerking LA off so hard. It has a chance.
I believe the Dodgers were 6 games back at the time. Can't find the thread though I wanted to see when it was exactly.

So Oakland won a series here in the regular season. In the playoffs they lose to the tigers every time

braves beat pitt or cincy. Stl/dodgers could go either way and whoever wins people will automatically say is going to the world series. I think the braves will beat either of these teams. As for the AL I dont think any team can beat bostons balance. Atlanta vs Red Sox world series. Dont have a prediction on it yet
