If a guy rips off a 78 yard run and has Christian Ponder as a QB - that coach has to stack the line unless he wants to get fired. No shock he didn't get anything the next 2 plays.

No, Id take AD all day I'm not dogging the guy. I was just pointing out how he typically gains his yards. It's usually not a nice steady 4-5 yards/rush but 1 or 2 big runs and a whole lot of nothing.

And Stafford and Brees prob gained several hundred yards passing last year each in garbage time where defenders were playing off. They are keying on Peterson and still won't contain him the entire game. Running controls the clock. Don't get too wrapped up in the #'s. Agree. Best Player in the league. Amazing for a guy that has 1 run for 78 yards, 5 runs for -4 yards and 2 TD's. he doesn't control the clock well at all.
