    mansion question
Can someone explain what’s the difference between the sports book and the sports exchange I want to sign up to do the steelers promo and just trying to figure out what’s the difference I know you have to use the sports book.

just click on sportsbook, on the exchange you can make offers and bet against other Mansion members and not just against the book

most books are straight -110 shops, taking most, if not all action...

exchanges (matchbook for example), try to match bets between gamblers and take a small commission for doing so...in theory, exchanges are at less risk, but many exchanges have/ are having problems with liquidity (getting enough action on both sides essentially)...

I've never bet at an exchange before and I just opened an account a Mansion today. This is what I don't understand. When you go to the exchange the juice is -107 on all sides. But it states everywhere that buyers pay 0% and winning sellers pay 0.5%. How do you do this instead of laying the -107?

If you want team A at -101, make a bet, use the controls to adjust the odds to -101, and choose the amount you want to bet. It will be placed as an "offer." You'll see it go up on the board as a +101 line for team B. If someone now takes that bet on team B at +101, you have your bet. If you win, you will be charged 0.5% on the net win.

You can remove an offer at any time as long as someone hasn't accepted it. If you buy someone elses offer at Mansion you pay no commission, it's just like placing a bet at a sportsbook.

You can play around with some $1 offers to get the idea, or you can just wait 'till closer to gameday and I'm sure you'll see lots of offers better than -107

              No problem.

I really recommend you experiment a little with making offers. You'll get the hang of it quickly and you will most likely get some great lines. Exchanges are a little intimidating at first but they (Mansion in particular) are a great value.

Just ignore the book part of Mansion entirely, except for free bets and maybe futures. There's nothing there, it's like any other full juice book.

I need to learn to have more patience to use the offer side of mansion...I get so fired up studying games, I forget I have offers out there sometimes...
