    Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees?
For my fantasy championship sunday. If it matters my opponent is starting D. Driver, G. Jennings, and R. Grant. So at least Rodgers will cancel out most of their points. I realize Brees is throwing for the record...

    $500 on the line

Also pick 2 of these RB's: Westbrook, Turner, Slaton

    much appreciated-

Westbrook and Turner. Westbrook is the mvp in the league to his team when healthy.

I would go Brees. I just don't think Rodgers is that good. Bree's is above him. From a point perspective if he Rodgers doesn't do much then your kind of boned if his QB lights you up.

Here is the problem. You play Carolina... so I would go Rodgers...

        bree's is 3rd
        Rodgers 8th in projections

Its much easier if I could get his roster... I think you have a RB advantage though. Hopefully you have a WR advantage but sounds like its in the air for you.

This is super easy. Do you want the Cal boy or the Purdue boy? The Cal boy! You bet on a Boilermaker and all you end up with is a hangover. Take the Golden Bear (extinct for over a hundred years, sadly) and claw your way to victory.

Interesting situation. It would help if we could see the complete roster from BOTH teams.

My strategy suggestion is that if your team is stronger in general, I'd go with Rodgers, because it reduces the variance with your QB being correlated with his WRs. OTOH, if he has a stronger roster, go with Brees and hope he can win it for you.

As for the RBs, Turner & Westbrook is pretty much a slam dunk.

Payton: Brees won't gun for record Updated 12/24/2008 Drew Brees, QB NO
News: Saints head coach Sean Payton was adamant that his club wouldn't use their Week 17 game against the Panthers as a way to push Drew Brees over 402 yards passing to break Dan Marino's single-season passing yardage record. Payton insists his team will play to win the game. "Certainly, a milestone like the record we're talking about is significant, but nonetheless what's most important to our team, to Drew Brees, to the organization, is winning this football game and finishing 9-7," Payton said Monday. "That said, something like that is significant. But I think it's only rewarding if something like that happens when you play well and you win rather than just if you hang around and throw it around just for the sake of the record." Analysis: We don't buy this for a second. While we certainly expect the Saints to run the ball to some degree, the odds of them being perfectly balanced on offense and not giving Brees a shot to pass Marino are slim. That's why we love Brees as a must-start Fantasy QB without reservation, even against the Panthers' talented secondary. If you own him, start him over everybody.

Don't ever worry about canceling out points, just go the person who will score more.

                              Take Brees.

I like your situation, you have a RB advantage. Canceling points to the WR will be easy but Ryan Grant is what will hurt you...if they start getting into the red zone and not throwing...He's gonna hurt you...he could have a 3 td game easily...

Here is the thing. You have to figure Brees is good for 1 td and 300 yds passing.

Problem is if GB goes off, which there offense is putting up about 24 to 28 points lately thats enough to hurt you...especially if TO who needs the ball has a big day...which is possible.

your WR suck btw. Terrible choices. I would actually consider Bruce to play as he's become a good redzone target in the Martz system for the 49ers...

I would go brees, but I would expect some INTs... GB is the conservative play.
