With the ML difference I'm sure there is, and obviously your pick has more chance of winning.
If there is a tie in my game it is no action.....if there is a tie in your wager you lose....I like it either way....

I figured the tie was the difference and it must work differently then ML usually does for most sports. I hate to admit this, but I didn't even realize the USA has a professional soccer league. I know it is HUGE overseas but they call it football. Live and Learn. Thanks for taking the time to explain the difference. Go LA!!

Same thing happened yesterday and the RAYS took took care of business. Let's hope for more of the same.

Sadly the Oklahoma City Thunder/Memphis Grizzlies game wasn't too kind to us. Hopefully the Pens, Indiana and LA soccer will work out better.

            Edit:
Sadly LA soccer didn't work out. Well, its up to the Pens now to save the night. Hopefully, Baseball is doing good for the people following it.
            Edit:
Indiana did in fact work out better!! And Pens did work out, but been better if they pulled out a regulation win. I'm surprised I didn't chose the ML regulation instead of the -.5. O well, least got series bet win also.

Least got enough back to make it thru a couple more storms. If Pens didn't win, might had to hang it up for a while.

I honestly cannot believe what just happened in the Tampa Bay Rays game....

Up 6-2 in the top of the 7th....

Helleckson walks the leadoff hitter after having him 0-2....when it got to 3-2 I tolds my buddy that the next pitch would be the most important pitch of the game...he thought I was crazy....and Helleckson walked him.

Then with one out he allows a soft single....not his fault.

Now with two outs the Padres get a crappy little infield single.....so bases loaded and 2 outs....

NOW....this is where my problem arises....Helleckson has given you 6 2/3 innings and a great outing IMO. He is not looking as strong and his control is clearly not as good.....BUT Maddon allows him to stay in the game against a hitter with a .222 average, no home runs and only one RBI on the year.....

Helleckson again gets to 0-2 and then throws up a couple of balls.....and at 3-2 Jesus Guzman (never heard of him, right?) jacks a Grand Slam.....predictable? Yes. Avoidable? Absolutely.

This is on Maddon....all of it. I understand 'trusting' your pitchers, but here he went too far....I coached/managed at a pretty high level, and I won't pretend to know everything....but this is just brutal. Now he brings in Jamie Wright into a WAY crappy scenario and he has once again loaded the bases....ALL WITH TWO OUTS!!!!!!!

              Disgusting

EDIT: Jamey Wright has now walked 3 consecutive batters and walked in a run....

I am a little disappointed that I didnèt take any Istomin action at +180.....against Isner he was very close to a pick em, but I was also happy to be grabbing +3 games.....probably should have gone 50% on the +3 and 50% on the +180....he certainly didnt dominate the match, but he did win it and looked good in doing so.

Sorry Hopper, I told D2D when he started it I loved that one, I am a little worried about Miami but CHI running on fumes at this point and I just follow D2D blindly in Hockey as I don't cap it.

On a side note the only other person I have seen as good as D2D the last 3 months is JD Warriors 5 in the service plays forum. He hit about 60% in NCAA and must be at 70% for the NBA playoffs and takes a lot of props which is always fun. I have been here long enough for people to know I m not a schill, just trying to put money in peoples pockets.

Keep up the good work D2D, you are still he hardest working man on SBR!

Thanks man.....I am not sure about the hardest working, but it is much appreciated. I would wager (ha) that there are a load of people that spend more time looking into trends and historical data then I do....I find that there is a point where people overanalyze data, and that you need to have a nice balance of recent history, trends and more than anything, the psychological side of things to make good decisions.

As I have said many times....we can all talk ourselves onto either side, especially with the more data we read. The key is to see the important things, then make a decision and stick with it.

An another note, I hope everyone got on the ATP again today (wagers were posted last night)....a nice start to a Sunday for us at 4-0, and 7-1 since the Almagro debacle (I will not make that mistake again).

Great job in the ATP today!! I only was able to get in on the last 2 due to sleep, but graded all 4 and see you got a sweep. None had much juice on them either, very nice. Congrats and thanks a lot.

Plus I totally agree how you cap more with recent trends and psychological side, I posted a few days ago how I am the same and why it took me so long to be able to make a profit in baseball. Playing everyday and pitching in my opinion make it more difficult to cap using psychology.

Thanks man, yeah, ATP has been VERY good to me....there are soooo many dogs out there that have HUGE value. My favourite plays are where I can get games with a guy that I think should be the clear favourite. I think there is a tendancy for the books to assign way too high a value on the favourites, but of course the public is really who controls things. I bet the books make a killing from the public on tennis....I don't think I will ever drop anything on another big favourite (except on the games line of course).

Anyway, adding two small MLB plays:

                                              179326309-1 5/12/13 12:08pm $52.50 $50.00 Pending 5/12/13 1:10pm Reduced Baseball 953 Pittsburgh Pirates/New York Mets Over 7 -105* (J Gomez - R must Start M Harvey - R must Start)
                                              179326309-2 5/12/13 12:08pm $50.00 $50.00 Pending 5/12/13 2:15pm Reduced Baseball 957 Colorado Rockies/St Louis Cardinals Over 7½ +100* (J De La Rosa - L must Start J Garcia - L must Start)

ALSO, you are bang on with MLB....no psychological advantages here. I have been trending very well this last 6 days now in ball mostly due to a change in the way I am looking at things. Current trends, streaks, etc are the mnost important factors, along with identifying the teams that are just plain old undervalued (KC and Pirates for example)....

Wondering what your thoughts are on the Mariners tonight? Saunders has been absolutely lights out at home (2 earned runs in 22.1 innings, 3 total surrendered) and he is plus money?

Yeah Value in MLB is huge. Most people don't realize if yo bet a -125 favorite everyday over 162 games if you go 90-72 you break even and very few MLB teams win 90 games every year.

It is interesting, but unfortunately Saunders just can't be trusted IMO against the A's. The problem is that the A's are just too patient and will wait for Saunders to get himself into trouble. You also need to take into account that 2 of his 3 starts at home were against light hitting teams (Houston and Baltimore).

I understand the logic in your thinking....but for me this is NO PLAY.

GL with your plays today. Nice hits on tennis.

I should have stipulated that I was speaking about the Orioles on the road. I am not sure how their splits work, and maybe I am wrong on this, but I haven't seen them scoring a lot outside of Camden Yards. Lol, not that it matters, but I think Saunders home record is a little skewed...the guy has been a gas can and has a negative strike/walk ratio and against the A's that could mean a death sentence.
