Indiana for the series. Not even a question in my mind.

I had them in Game 1 +5.5 and ML, and wanted to pull the trigger on a series bet, but I wanted to see the game first. Now the odds are crap so I cannot. If the Knicks win tonight and I lose my 2 small bets (+6 and ML) I will go 4-5 units on the Indiana Series ML and if Indiana wins tonight then I will be off the Series Bet completely as there will be no value for me.....

As for Montreal/Ottawa I have a small bet out there. Montreal needs to step up their game, and once again Ottawa will be feeling great about how they won the last game.....Montreal is going to come out and scrap for every goal and I see them evening this thing up. This series was destined for 6 to 7 games from the start, and I still am on Montreal to pull this out. I was correct on Games 1 and 2, and honestly thought Montreal would take Game 3 and then Ottawa would tie it up.....basically, all strategy out the window, I cannot see either team being ahead 3-1 here.

Pittsburgh/NYI - Pittsburgh has underperformed the last two games. Credit to the Islanders as they took advantage of this. IMO there is ZERO way Pittsburgh is going home tied at 2 and giving the Isles a shot here.....now, don't get me wrong, I am not saying this is a lock or anything, but what I am saying is that the Pens will come out fighting. As for the Isles, they are a scrappy bunch and will get there in a year or two, but they just do not have the talent to keep up....or the experience.....or possibly even the drive.

I went large on Chi-Town for exactly the same reason, superior talent and more motivation than they have had in ANY other game this entire season.

I like tonight's board, but at the same time I am a little nervous as I don't like to bet faves...feel much better with a ticket full of dogs.....WOOF!

I am not going to even think about assigning a goal total to this game.....with these two teams we could see anything from 3-1 to 10-8. I saw the Islander beat the Jets a couple of weeks ago live....they move the puck through the centre ice area so quickly and also give up odd man rushes because of it. I love the thread D2D and appreciate all you do. Love the Pens bet tonight. I live in Pittsburgh and I believe the last 2 games have gotten the Pens attention and they should be very focused this evening.
Also it is very probable that Brooks Orpik and James Neal both return tonight. It's an embarrassment of riches but it takes some sting out of being a Pirates fan sooo.....it all evens out!

That tends to be a good thing my friend. There is nothing I hate more than a bunch of people telling me how great my picks are on any certain day....when that happens I generally get crushed. The pick is NOT a huge play or anything, but the Pacers are the better team here, even if they didn't prove that in the first round....I would not be shocked by a Pacers sweep in this series in the least.....it just isn't a great matchup for this NY team.

Who do you like the best? The Pens more than the Hawks? Also, what do you think about the Nucks tonight? They've looked pretty bad the first few games in this series, but surely they avoid the sweep? As a Canucks season ticket holder I am too biased to see this game clearly....my crystal ball is cloudy. I am guessing they are done though....

As for Pens versus Chicago tonight please look to page 42 where you will see my reasoning.

PS - Q bets BEFORE the game aren't always a bad thing or for "idiots"... Tonnes of value in games such as IND vs NYK tonight, or CHI vs MIA tomorrow - teams will always want to atone for previous letdowns/embarrassments (especially on homecourt).. so long as the # isn't too outrageous. I do know what you meant when you said it, however

Montreal obviously looking decent so far in the NHL, and Pittsburgh has QUICKLY countered both scores from the Isles. I am glad that we kept OT live in that game, but hopefully the pressure adds up and Pitts takes this down in Regulation for everyone.

Oh boy, just landed. When I took off it was 3-2 for Pit, 64-62 for Indiana, 2-0 for Montreal.....

Apparently I have to baby sit these games to make sure they win??

Another Very tough night...way too many faves and way too much juice, two nights in a row I bet out of my normal patterns....these games were just to tempting.
