Wow! I am an idiot. You are completely correct. And yes, I missed on the 5 and ties win thing...I am usually on the ball there, but I haven't bet a lot of teasers lately.
Nice of 5dimes to list a number of different options for football where basketball doesn't change. If you look down the list I just hit the wrong button when entering the teaser section.

Lol, I know I know....how as a Canucks fan can I possibly bet the Bruins....pretty gross. I am going to bet them both games, same $ amount. No way they lose both and 40% of the time they will win both.....I am looking at risking $25 to win $200 and will cash that 1/4 times.....unless something crazy happens and the Leafs win both, which is 1/10 at best IMO.

Really poor start to the night....the Heat look exactly the opposite of what I thought they would be....0 for 7 from the field....yikes. They will still win this game but I think that half time bet is going to be tough now.
Also, both early baseball games we get behind by 2 in the first inning....lol. Bucholz looks like he is upset about Jack Morris' comments and he is about to walk in a run to make it 3-0 with only 1 out. Honestly, I should have thought about that having more of an affect then I would think.

Totally different - quarter bets before the game are a coin toss, whereas live bets (whether quarter, total, etc) are based on the flow of the game. Kind of like how you make a 2H bet based on what you see going on in the 1H. Quarter bets are tough b/c the spread is so small given the small amount of time, so even if it is a live bet, your overall chances are only slightly IMO better than a pregame quarter bet.Comment -
OK, if the Spurs can make 6 more pts, with 3 of those coming from Parker, and keep within 7 of GS, all in the next 1:18, this night might be salvageable for me.

Lol, a funny night at best. Live betting treated me very poorly, but thank goodness I posted it pretty late so I doubt many of you got on it at that point.
Frankly, if I didn't post all my plays I would have bet that again when they were down 16. I could have got tons of points and a great ML, but I didn't want to feel 'chasey'. Those halftime bets now look exactly like that, but I had no money on the game (so wasn't influenced) was watching it and was sure SA was going to figure it out....they did, but WAY too late for me.
Anyway, terrible night, but we will get back on track tomorrow. Will post results later (3-9-1 I think?).

i advise against any deposits directly to book from your bank account (such as In-stad-eb-it) or your CC because the question was about gambling being illegal (or at least "grey market") in the players jurisdiction. In-stade-bit is, no doubt, convenient...but it directly links you to the business you don't want to be linked to.
That's my advice...you may think i'm overly careful/paranoid...that's fine...just know, direct transactions are fully transparent...and even tho there may be no consequences now, doesn't mean that when (not if) laws change there won't be hassles/fines/taxes.
It's quite easy to set up Skr...& it works seamlessly with almost all decent books...and it leaves a much fuzzier footprint. Bureaucrats are like everyone else...lazy...meaning, if the political culture changes and they decide to play "hardball" they'll go for the easy to investigate cases first...direct deposits to/withdrawals from books are an undeniable financial "smoking gun"...e-wallet transactions would involve digging.

Can I ask your thoughts on NYI-Pitt and Mon-OTT.
My mind is the home team will prevail.
I don't like Montreal in Ottawa after they were embarassed and Ottawa is just playing better at the moment. I have to give Ottawa the plus in every category at the moment.
I see the Islanders be a plucky out that perhaps should have won last game. They have momentum and its a home game. I don't see the islanders winning the series but going 1/2 at home, sure.

As for Montreal/Ottawa I have a small bet out there. Montreal needs to step up their game, and once again Ottawa will be feeling great about how they won the last game.....Montreal is going to come out and scrap for every goal and I see them evening this thing up. This series was destined for 6 to 7 games from the start, and I still am on Montreal to pull this out. I was correct on Games 1 and 2, and honestly thought Montreal would take Game 3 and then Ottawa would tie it up.....basically, all strategy out the window, I cannot see either team being ahead 3-1 here.
Pittsburgh/NYI - Pittsburgh has underperformed the last two games. Credit to the Islanders as they took advantage of this. IMO there is ZERO way Pittsburgh is going home tied at 2 and giving the Isles a shot here.....now, don't get me wrong, I am not saying this is a lock or anything, but what I am saying is that the Pens will come out fighting. As for the Isles, they are a scrappy bunch and will get there in a year or two, but they just do not have the talent to keep up....or the experience.....or possibly even the drive.
I went large on Chi-Town for exactly the same reason, superior talent and more motivation than they have had in ANY other game this entire season.
I like tonight's board, but at the same time I am a little nervous as I don't like to bet faves...feel much better with a ticket full of dogs.....WOOF!

What's your reasoning behind liking the Pens a wee-bit more than the Hawks, especially given Hawks lost last game..... I'm on both tonight, but was considering going a tad heavier on the Hawks until I saw your post.
P.S - last night when you posted your 2H NBA plays I was going to reply "Hope we both win" - I had GSW Race to 20 (+200) GSW 19 - SA 20 - instead we both bit the big one
