If Dolphins beat Jets next week it will be sweat revenge for Pennigton. Then the Favre deal would have to be laughed upon for generations to come.

No if Miami loses to Jets they will both have 10-6 records but Jets will be 2-0 against them which wins the tiebreaker. Miami also loses the tiebreaker to Ravens if Ravens lose last game to Jaguars because Ravens beat them. The only way for Miami to make playoffs is if they beat Jets and Patriots lose to Bills so they can win the division.
