justin7 seems to be more of a consultant for sbr, not part of the "wolf pack"

If Justin7 ever says a positive thing here again, either he believes SBR didn't know, or he is one of the wolfpack.

BI was certainly popular here. They did advertise on Covers as well.
BI always promised and maintained until the end that payments would definitely be going out and that they always paid. We had given them until Saturday when they were absolutely sure payments would go out. Did they pay until they ran out of money? Doubtful. Seems more likely they had a balance and at some point late last week decided not to send anything and run.

For me, the interesting thing is Justin taking an 85k bath, which suggests the book's rapid failure was probably a total surprise.
Sympathies to anyone who got burned - was once in a situation like this myself. Only for $30k, and eventually got it all back, but it was pretty unpleasant at the time.
I agree with you that was a pretty tough hit to lose 30k to anyone. I am so glad I didn't have an account with these clowns even though I considered it. What is shocking to me too is Justins 85k also. I wonder if he had more than that there and took withdrawals out before then. With the 250k in that one I wonder how much he started with and then I would go from there.

John how much would you estimate SBR made over the last two years with banner and affilate fees?

What made them do that I wonder? I just don't understand it at all. No explanation at all why. I really deep down inside that SBR didn't think this would happen either. I would love to hear the whole SBR story behind it and from what I understand I think they tried to get it resolved and it just didn't work out.

Who says he wasn't trying for months to get his funds out but there was no cash in the coffers to pay him? In fact this tells me that these guys were bust a long time ago and they had no intention of paying anyone.

He might have started with say $10k so it might have been winnings to get to that much.

Could have been his affiliate balance. I have no doubt they were also slow paying their affiliates.

To all the guys that deposited money in that book, I am sick to my stomach to see what happened. I hope you guys get a bailout from another book, and I hope everyone will think twice before putting money in any sportsbook.

I hope they learn a lesson from this and not keep so much in there. Some of these amounts are huge.

The original article has been updated to now suggest that SBR itself may have been BI's financial backer. There's no real substance to any of their theories aside from the fact that they were somehow able to obtain that list of referral players, but I was a bit surprised to see that John didn't bother to debunk any of the claims.
Justin7, please tell us whether you lost your money.

Whatever he says means nothing. If he thought SBR screwed him over, he would have been livid and we would know it. He will tell us he lost that money, no way to verify he actually did, so why bother?

That's what I'm saying. If he was owed $85k and there was nothing to pay him for months what were his options? Out them at SBR?

I would have! The warning would have been given out to the members here on it. They wouldn't have gotten as much as they did on stealing SBR's members money.

its actually very simple... if you keep winning more than your max withdrawals, your balance continues to grow...nothing to do about it
