howland has been a joke for quite some time. he deserves no credit for the final fours since they weren't his players. and if he's not currently recruiting kids that fit his system, that's on him too. the guy has no excuses and should've been fired 2 years ago.

F-er will make the tournament this year and that will probably save him for another year. Very shocked that over the course of a decade in which the last 4-5 years have been absolutely sub-par for a program like this that Howland kept his job.

Jamie Dixon is at a less appealing school, and is able to then focus on players that fit his/howlands system (since they are literally identical).

Even then, Jamie's teams have severe issue come march.

Also, as to your previous post - it is this coach that I am giving up on. The kids on that team (save the wears and fat ass smith) I have nothing but high expectations for. I think Bazz is going to have an awesome career in the NBA. Kid was simply born to play in that league, with that style.

Kyle Anderson, if I took off my Arizona glasses, is my favorite recruit in this class - regardless of his literally oversized head.

Jordan Adams - that boy is the best player on that team currently. Saw him a few times a year or so ago, and didn't expect anything like this. Actually, I thought Adams was simply added to appease Bazz.

Parker - kid is fat.... but has potential. He isn't Josh Smith good, nor is he Josh Smith fat. Think he can have a solid collegiate career.

ucla loses to cal poly at home. and they should've lost to uc irvine at home too if irvine could've made even 1 of 2 free throws with no time left in a tie game.

howland should be fired immediately, what a horrible fukkin coach and overrated team this is.

Ben Howland had a couple good years and parlayed that into the gig and pay day he has now. Guy never could coach, and besides Parcells might be the most over rated coach in sports history.

guy has talent out the ass and gets beat on a repeated basis by teams far superior to him. When he first got to UCLA he has about 8 o r 9 NBA players on that team, sure they made the final 4 and the finals but they should have won it all at least once, maybe even twice.

He actually recruited a few guys this time around and he still cant do anything with him

I really thought the scandal there was going to bring him down especially since he sucks, but UCLA seems to be all in with this joker and theyre going to have to pay the price. This team wont sniff anything as long as he is there.

Sammy my man........as a Trojan alum........and a die hard fan of the program long before my college years......I'm in a very fragile state of mind at the moment. It's not just the 5 losses............it's being swept by notre dame and ucla (same season) for the first time in almost two decades Sammy. It's painful Samuel.

I'm not a big fan of Lane, but I am a big fan of his recruiting and I don't want to lose this unbelievable recruiting class he's got lined up. Sure, we'll lose a kid here and there (it's already happened a bit). But, Lane will replace a four star with another four star. Fire Lane........shit hits the fan. Keep Lane...give that old coot Monte the boot and maybe..........just maybe.........Lane can right the ship.
