Players get ripped for making mistakes in the FIELD OF PLAY all the fkn time. But when a coach directly COSTS his team a fkn TD while he`s nice and cozy on the sideline with his fkn headset and 20 fkn advisors in his ear, nobody says shit.

The rule is absolutely retarded you "penalize" the coach for throwing a flag which is a reflex action to a call he knows is absolutely wrong and resulted in a TD by allowing the bad call/TD to stand AND a 15 yard penalty against the Lions as well

Makes sense

This rule will last for one season before getting knocked off...of course for those who had the Lions today that doesnt mean shit

The rules surrounding coaches challenges are so fukin confusing that you cant blame Schwartz, the rules are just godawful. Any turnover/scoring play is automatically reviewed but as a coach you are programmed to "let them know" you saw something ****** up that you want reviewed by throwing the challenge flag but of course throwing it results in the call being unreviewable and a 15 yard penalty???
