Both teams could compete with about any team in the nation. LT has the defensive capabilities of Terri Schiavo but they have a QB who has a TD:INT ratio of 24:0. They are going to score even against an awesome USU defense but lower than average.

This is a really tough pick, the 3 pt spread in this game basically is nothing, the game should end by a TD or more in either side because of the propensity to score so for value, go LT. That's not the pick of the week but given the circumstances, it may have the most justification to get +150 or whatever it is.

Over is the only good play I see. Utah State could score 50 on the La Tech D with ease, and La Tech is good for 30-40 points weekly.

Utah State plays much better defense and the line is -3 even though the game is @LT. I'll be on Utah St. here.

La Tech will lose this one.

La Tech fans are eager to mention the Texas AM game as justification why La Tech will win. La Tech did well in that game not because it is such a "great team" but because Texas AM was having a bad day.

This isn't rocket science and let's keep it logical. A great team doesn't do well against Texas AM and then win only by a touchdown against.....Texas State. What makes a team good is consistency.

La Tech played one of the weakest schedules in college football. It is easy to go 9-1 when you play a bunch of nobodies.

Not even BYU could score more that 6 points at home against Utah State and there are still guys out there who think La Tech is going to do to Utah State what BYU couldn't ?
