GREAT DAY TO BE JAYS FAN (check-in)
Boys, it's happening! Rogers trusts AA and is giving him free reign to bring home a Championship.

It's impossible not to be buzzing about the Jays. And with people sour about the whole NHL lockout, expect Jays fanbase to grow. Jerseys, tickets, everything is going through the roof.

No Canadian team has ever committed so much.

Reyes is a born loser he would rather sit than play for his overblown pay checks You wont win with him the only thing he worries about is personal stats The 2 pitchers are avgerage at best

They might know Cabrera isn't the hype and trade him off for a solid reliever/closer.

Lots of time to make moves in the offseason.

Rogers is very very smart betting the NHL will stay locked out for the whole season.

                                    This.

People are buzzing about the Jays in November... I bet the last time that happened it was the hangover buzz from the 1993 World Series. This is a perfect time to grab fans across the country who are without their beloved hockey teams.

I might try to find a summer job in Toronto...

Jays haven't been this active picking up legit players in the offseason since 1990 (when they got Alomar, Joe Carter and Devon White) and 1991 (they added Jack Morris and Dave Winfield). Looking good this year. But I agree they could still use another bat or two...

                                        Manager Destroyer's Projected Lineup:

                                        1. Reyes, SS (Lets hope he's excited about the opportunity in front of him and gives it his all)
                                        2. Cabrera (or Davis vs. lefties), LF (Let's hope the Melkman can deliver the goods; if not Davis can bring speed in the 2)
                                        3. Bautista, RF (JOEY BATTTTTS!)
                                        4. Encarnacion, DH (This guy has some POP. Really coming into his own as a DH)
                                        5. Lawrie, 3B (Decent bat, knows how to get on base)
                                        6. Arencibia, C (Who knows if JPA will even be around come opening day but if he is, he'll be behind the plate)
                                        7. Rasmus, CF (Solid fielder, good young player, hard not to like Colby)
                                        8. Lind, 1B (Reliable fielder, maybe the shakeup in the locker room will jump start his 'second wind')
                                        9. Izturis, 2B (Speedster, great for the bottom of the lineup)

                                        1. Josh Johnson (Proven starter, I think it's obvious JJ gets the ball on opening day)
                                        2. Brandon Morrow (Had an unreal season last year, lets hope he continues to grow)
                                        3. Ricky Romero (This is still Romero's team and one bad season won't wipe away his talent)
                                        4. Mark Buehrle (Inning eater, efficient, veteran strikeout specialist)
                                        5. J.A. Happ (Love Happ here in the 5th position, more useful than out of the pen)

Bench: Bonifacio, Buck, Sierra, Gose, Mccoy, Cooper

Not even close, Jays wern't even that bad last year, just had the worst run of injuries in MLB. Lost one of the top 5 hitters in baseball to injury as well as 3 of their 5 starters in 5 days.. That's unheard of.

Definitely a shame but their hasn't been too much to cheer about combined with the fact hockey is religion here. Hopefully now that those selfious pricks (players & owners) are throwing away the nhl season, people will finally show up to what should be a really exciting team. Avg'd 25K last year, i would think they should get 30K now atleast. If not now, never
