Oregon versus Kansas State would be a shootout that Oregon would win. Notre Dame would challenge the Oregon offense and make it close.

Would take alabama and k state before ND. Hopefully usc will put an end to this idea that ND is championship caliber team

Notre Dame's defense is good, really good! They may shut down USC like they did Oklahoma.

Oregon would roll K-State in the championship game. Oregon may roll Notre Dame as well, but I think it would be a better matchup. That's the whole point of this thread. An Oregon-Notre Dame matchup would be better than Oregon-K-State.

oregon would absolutely not roll ksu, what a laughable statement. oregon's defense is below average (at best) and at times look downright pathetic. ksu is stronger in the trenches as well.

Wrong! But the Oregon offense is that good!

obviously I'd prefer ND in the championship game but 2nd best would anything that doesnt include an SEC team

i think the only team that can beat oregon is alabama. nd is over rated.

Unless ORegon or K state loses a game ND got no chance at the championship game. They would absolutely get killed by the Ducks. Also I would still rather see Bama with 1 loss in the championship game than ND.
