The consenus is still in beta stage. The programers were on the project today. When you use multiple feeds for one set of numbers they could get distorted if one feed fails.

Not any standout fades in the afternoon games but Chicago is the play tonight.(not nearly as convincing as the Minn game)

Love the thread idea John. Thanks for the info.
Why weren't the Eagles a play at 4?

Texans are a more well-rounded team, and I'm concerned for Cutler's well-being given Watt and Houston's front four, but the Bears are just a team you don't want to mess with.
90% chance of rain tonight.

Incredible amount of money flooded towards the Chi/Hou game tonight - crazy numbers versus the rest of the card today. Also amazing how the vast majority in the hour before kickoff was on the Bears. Guess everyone found out the weather around that time.

This is pretty impressive. Am I reading this correctly, there were only 26 bets over 1k on Dallas today? I am one of the squarish 26 if so.

Going to take some more watching for me. Money was heavy on Hou until the last couple of hours. By game time the balance had shifted to Chicago. Is the last hour money normally square??

early money is way sharper money than late money when guys are getting off from work, from gym, from family obligations, etc, just getting time to put their bets in at the last second. sharps bet openers the majority of the time unless they project a line change in their favor in the future. you know this.
confused why you took the bears considering everyone on sbr was on bears? everyone on sbr was on lions and that's why you faded? honestly just fade sbr consensus plays. it's a great idea. I should have known when everyone agreed in my lions thread that it was bound to lose.

SBR John,
I just noticed this feature, and I like it.
I'm curious about the information.

Is their a link that I could go to to answer some questions about it?
Thanks

Yea I mucked that up. I wasn't aware the night game would attract so much late action.

We are pulling numbers from a couple of offshore sportsbooks who prefer to see how the info is displayed and used before we do anything else.
We have approached many books with this concept. Only a couple would allow the info and only in this guarded format. It reminds me of the days before the internet where you simply could not get real time stock quotes without going through a broker. They guarded the data like they are doing with this sportsbook data. Its just data and we are trying hard to open this area up.

Best bets are pulled straight from Beat The Prick contest. Each week contestants are required to pick a Best Bet which counts 2x. Tout selections are pulled from the service play forum.
As far as totals, we have that data and will start looking at it. Totals in the NFL are sparsely bet on until game day. That works against us, we need a minimum of data to populate a field or the results will look checkerboarded. We will have totals by the playoffs.
