You guys using anything over 87 octane, it might be cheaper to buy some octane booster
    and fill up with regular.

With ethanol added to gas now a days, I heard its bad for small engines, according to
Popular Mechanics and local stories I heard. Popular Mechanics suggests using a fuel
stabilizer to your small engine gas.

Ethanol eats rubber hoses and carb float seats also absorbs water which creates rust.

    Just an FYI.

get used to it.. its not gonna go down any time soon... it will probably go up at least another 50 cents a gallon before it drops at all... with all the unrest around the world with countries that supply the oil continues its just going to get worse... it sux bad but get used to it, as bad as it sux...

Here in Moscow gas is 80 cents/USD a liter. Putin has accused the oil companies of driving up gas prices to increase profits. Find it hard to believe there is any corruption in mother Russia. Two days in Russia and my fun meter is on redline (not). Better get back before it blows up.

I live in Chicago but have been traveling to San Fran for work every week - San Fran has been over $4 for a while - I think it averaged about $4.25 while I was out there - here in Chicago it is hovering around $4.10 for the cheap stuff - I think I paid about $4.17 the other day so maybe its up around there.

    Sick!!!

Been driving for over 20 years and just paid $3.87 in central MN. Most I have ever paid is $3.93. Thankful I don't have to drive too much for work. I can set up my week and if I am efficient with my time and appointments, I only put 600-800 miles a month. Last time I filled up it was $3.39 about three weeks ago. I will definitely be driving a lot more when it gets nicer driving to play ball, golf, and I am dreading the cost to go on a weekday fishing outing.
