Half is a stretch but I get you. I actually love MLB post seasons because they move quickly, unlike the fukkin nba.

NBA postseason is freaking forever!!! And they seriously need to cut the MLB season down to prob 75 games. Would make it SO much more interesting for the crappier teams to make an early run in the year and actually make the playoffs. The 162 games almost always allows the better teams to eventually get back into the race and make the playoffs. I don't know about ya'll, but after 8,000 freaking games of baseball, I am so sick of it come the playoffs that it takes everything out of the postseason, IMO.

Baseballs niche has always been the live aspect of it. I can take my kids out for the evening to the ballpark on any given day during the long season. Cant do it this week, no problem, there's a game next week. Buy $5 tickets, spend a nice evening with the kids = win. I never remember televised baseball outperforming football, ever and I certainly cant spend less than $100 for the family at a football game.

cutting the season down to 75 games would be dumb as hell. I like the 162 game season it gives the real teams that deserve to be in the playoffs a chance to fuk up and get back in the race while the young team cant handle all the pressure. You could maybe get rid of 20 games but no more then that and that still bothers me

The better teams should make the playoffs. There are now two wildcard spots in each league for the crappier teams.

i think 120 games makes sense, would cut season down a month half.

baseball is way too fuking long of a season... for a fan..
but for a bettor, its too short.
I love MLB - never liked it much... until i started to bet on it.. respect it now quite a bit. its a good game, its more of a poker/chess game than a sports game.

Honestly, I didn't even watch the World series..I watched a bit of the game last night after the Broncos/Saints 3rd quarter...OU/ND game before that..they really need to do something whether that's cutting the games down or whatnot to schedule around football
