Cutler couldn't do shit against that lions front 4. Bears D got lucky fumbles from the kid from -- and leshore. Lions were moving the ball when they needed to and bears defense couldn't do shit til they got on the 5 yard line.

Bears D did their job holding Detroit to only 7 points, and the defense proved they can win a game for their team when the offense only manages to score 13 points. I just feel like they had many opportunities in that 4th quarter to put that game out of reach even by just putting in another FG. Although the game really wasn't as close as the score indicated, Detroit did have a very small probability of winning the game once they scored that TD with 30 ticks left.

When the game was 13-0 in the 2nd half it felt like 53-0 with the how inept the Lions had been on offense. If Detroit scores the TD a little earlier I'm sure Chicago would have responded with a scoring drive. There was never really any pressure for Chicago to score so they didn't. The outcome never seemed in doubt in the 2nd half.

New guy here, for whats its worth I did a parlay with the bears ML and took the under (won that one). But did an in-game wager on the bears winning by 10.5 and of course that failed with the last touchdown. What a day, I usually stay away from in game wagers, but could not resist.

The fact the Lions remained in the game and had a chance to win after the debacle of a game their offense had was shocking.

How any team can only score 13 with as many fumbles they recovered, drops by the Lions receiving corps - particularly Johnson, 3-outs the Bears defense forced is beyond me. I had a teaser on the game (-1,under 52) and was surprised that with how poor the Lions offense had played, the Bears didn't capitalize.

But as most of you say, they won the game, that's what matters. Bears defense carried this game, no doubt.

People dont realize this was a classic defensive nfc divisional battle. To say if lions scored when they should have they would have won is nonsense. Bottom line is bears never felt pressure and that affected the play calling in the second half. If you notice they didn't take any shots and were content milking the clock. The game was set up for the lions to cover no way bears lose that game.

Bears play Houston on a sun night in Chicago week 10, at 49rs week 11 Monday night. B2B prime time games against top flight competition. Bears win both or split they are in good shape. Do not take this d lightly they are for real I have been a bears fan since birth and this team looks better than any other in the lovie era. 2006 bears made it with Rex grossman, Thomas jones and Bernard Berrian as the best offensive weapons. This team is much more talented overall and better coached.
