If you go to Detroit and never leave the city and stay in the shittiest of shitty, you're going to think the state is all shit. Michigan and Metro Detroit have great areas and wealth beyond belief. There is nothing in the world like Northern Michigan. Nothing at all. People that have been there can attest to it.

no where in michigan are you more then seven miles from water! Orchards galore offerering some of the best peaches and apples in the country. Down the street is a huge grape orchard. Have also pick strawberries, blueberries, black & red rasberries, sweet and sour cherries, mulberries and more. Living on 11 acreas I have hunting and lake in backyard. Two miles down on same street is massive nature center. Downtown Detroit is a great place to visit and city like Birmingham and Royal Oak are some of the best in the country. Been and lived all over the US and Michigan is clearly one of the better states. Memphis sucks staying there a month as all southern cities do except in Texas, Arkansas or western states!

Greek town is nice for a visit. Northern Michigan is beautiful, great fishing and hunting.

Detroit is a shit hole. Democratic experiment on micro-managing gone wrong. Most are on the dole. Place is dangerous at night. Can pick up homes with the cash from a decent parlay ticket.
