This is the part of the story i don't understand either.
he has personally told me about the inheritance, but then the 401k loans, not having $1000 cash in new orleans to bet with, driving a hyundai, etc don't make any sense

If brock is betting $7000 on stuff like the texans moneyline when he has debts to pay, then yes i would be in favor of an intervention.
