I'll be in Vegas October 10th - 14th and looking for the best place on the strip. I'll be staying at Ceasars.
Thanks!

Caesars isn't bad. I would go and watch games there again. The drinks are kinda steep in the sportsbook. So plan accordingly

Depends on what you're looking for. The Cosmopolitan is new and has the highest quality tv screens, but there is no smoking and it doesn't have the same atmosphere that some do
Caesar's is a decent spot, not a big fan of their older tv screens tho
If you wanna check others out I'd recommend Planet Hollywood & MGM Grand

Depends, if you got money, it is Legasse's stadium in Palazzo<--- can't tell me there is a better spot, because there isn't.
If you have a car, going out to GVR in Henderson is a solid choice. Good book, and no crowd to fight over prime locations.
I recently spent some time at the M, I need to go back to see how I feel about it. Seems good - but it is also far as fukk away.
Gold Coast during March Madness is a winner for me always
Personally, if I am simply by myself (meaning I can get a decent spot easier) I just stroll into Caesars. Enjoy their layout.

Reason: Mistook the Wynn for Palazzo

cosmopolitan is the worst sportsbook of any major casino, it's ridiculously small and right next to a nightclub
bellagio - free drinks with no tickets or bullshit, big cushy chairs

Lots of screens, lots of room, nice book, free WIFI, you can sometimes get free drinks (if a server ever wonders over), etc.

Watching games in books in Vegas blows because you got dozen games going where you are only get sound on one (always the wrong one...) and a bunch degens all screaming about 5 different silly games when they still need another 8 to hit to for their $5 lotto ticket long shot parlay to come in...
If you really need to sweat your bets pay the $15 to the hotel for internet for the day and follow along on firstrowsports (or whatever the current flavor of the month pirate streaming site is) and have access to stuff that is really important (real books offshore, line services, and ability to fade Brooks' rubberband plays)...

I'd second that suggestion for Bellagio. Went there last year for the opening round of the NCAA tourney, what a hell of a scene.

Main reason I said the Venetian. FREE WIFI IN THE BOOK. They'll tell you to stop if they see you betting online, but it's easy to not be seen.

as you can see, just like favorite restaurants everyone likes something a little different
i don't like any of the places that make you get tickets for drinks except paris, small sportsbook but they have gigantic glasses of modelo!
i could sit in the paris las vegas sportsbook all day (and have) drinking modelo and betting sports/races
bellagio, more of a dewar's on the rocks or jack and coke since they have nice big cocktail tumblers
not at all surprising that i would rate sportsbooks based on their waitress service and glass sizes

that's why I said it depends what he's looking for guy. I'm not a fan of watching the games on 1990's washed out projectors or tv screens from 100 yards away, where the audio is always on the wrong game or some horse race that I'm not betting
I want to be right in front of a nice plasma or LCD tv screen watching the game in High-Definition with audio

Lot of good info here, and I would add that taking a $50 cab ride to Red Rock is worth it. Really nice room, totally different vibe with it catering to locals.
