true story: when i was 9 years old on family vacation in Florida i was out in the ocean having fun on a float, not too far out at all. having a blast and then all of a sudden i realized that i was moving away from shore while just laying on my float... it started so quickly. i didn't panic and started to swim back towards shore but at 9 years old and weighing so little i was losing that battle big time. didn't take me long to panic and scream towards shore at my dad who was in the water but not far out with my siblings and he heard me and swam out got a-hold of my float and tugged me back with him. first day back at school after summer i told everyone i almost died and would've been some sharks snack
