The comments section of our newspapers have started to look like the politics forum here. Libtard this, right wing nut that.
And we had a pretty divisive gay marriage vote not long ago that I think kind of surprised a lot of people by how many voted No and the geographic area they dominate in our two biggest cities.
So think we are more divided than we look on the surface. But in general, it doesn't feel like there is any chance ofcivil disturbances over anything in the near future.
