Try to put personal hatred to the side for a second

And it is tough. Real tough to figure out who would be in your Top 3.

Buss is obviously under consideration.

Then who?

1. George Steinbrenner. I loathe the Yankees, but man. He bought the Yanks for 6 million, and they are now worth 1.2 Billion. Not a bad investment. 7 World Series titles.

2. Lamar Hunt. Owner, KC Chiefs. Man, this guy was a visionary. He founded the AFL, and then merged it with the NFL, and was responsible for creating the Super Bowl. Hunt was also founded the North American Soccerl League--which became MLS, was one of the original investors of the Chicago Bulls, and created the World Championship Tennis, which ushered in the Open Tennis Era in the 1960's. He is in 3 pro sports Halls of Fame, Football, Tennis, and Soccer.

3. Conn Smythe. They won something like 6 Cups in 9 years. 'Nuff said.

4. George Halas. Founded that little thing called the NFL-- with his Chicago Bears.

5. The Mara Family.

6. The Rooney Family.

7. Al Davis. The 1960's and 1970's Al Davis. Not the crazy one who hired 12 year old-Lane Kiffin.

8. Jack Kent Cooke.

9. Walter Brown, the Founder of the Boston Celtics and the man behind Red Auerbach's curtain.

10. Branch Rickey.

Tough to name 1, 2 or 3. All pretty solid.
