Way early on in the season, the Falcons game was supposed to be the barometer for whether the Eagles were "for real". After they trounced the Falcons and got a little national respect, the cries of "overrated" started. Since then they've beaten the Colts (though some bad calls helped Indy cover) and blew out the Redskins to split the series with McNabb and co.
Last night, there were several threads about how Philly and Vick were still "overrated". After they covered, I'm still seeing people whine about how the G-men were the "right play", and how Atlanta and Green Bay are still miles ahead of Philly.
I bet if the Eagles win the Super Bowl this year, it'll be "dumb luck" just like the Giants in '07 and the Saints last year to all you guys who can't get your heads out of the sand.
The Eagles are "for real" and there's no denying it. What do you haters have to see?
