i instantly wanted the raiders in this bet, but like you was shocked at the +3,3 1/2 variances. as far as defense nhamdi asomugha will smother andre johnson so dont expect to see a whole lot of points from him, which is why i wanted to jump on oakland. but cmon bruce gradkoswki against matt shaub? isnt this the same houston team that beat indy and ran all down their throat showing they can run as well as pass? how the shiz did they get this spread? i know...the raiders just got highly touted free agent chuck norris to replace gradkowski...must be

oakland as dogs not bad and if favored run so far away from that bet you left your dick behind. that teams wins nothing, look at last week. that is who they are to a fukkking T. if you want winners and people that wanna win find the opposite side of the globe from oakland and try there.

It's more than just the fact that Oakland wins games at home.. Andre Johnson is injured and questionable.. Even if he plays he won't be 100% he will be going against Asamouga so I don't think he will be as much of a factor as he normally would be.

Also, Houston's defense has been awful the last two games and Cushing and Brown are both out for the game serving suspensions. Add to this Oakland's offense is playing ok with Gradkowski at QB, and McFadden is actually playing well. I think this line actually is where it should be, and I have a small lean to Oakland, who could win this game straight up.

Don't be surprised when Asomugha keeps Dre in check all day. The past four matchups Dre has been held to 2 catches for 66 yards (one was a 62 yarder), 2 catches for 19 yards, 1 catch for 9 yards and 3 catches for 22 yards. Taking him out of the game changes this team drastically. Raiders defense is solid and they are much better then last year. Be aware that they like to play these close games. Don't see how the Raiders aren't the play. Everyone on Houston yet line has dropped to 3? Oakland won this match up back in 08 and comparing the Texans at home vs the road is apples to oranges. Last year they played the Chargers and Ravens tough at home and beat the Eagles and Bengals. Plus last year the Texans went 1-5 in the red zone against them and Oakland fumbled 3 times giving them good field position. Raiders much different with what looks like the D-Mac we all expected and Gradkowski loooking like a suitable QB.

I like Oakland for most of reasons above a banged up A. Johnson verse Namdi, a left tackle making his second career start who just got assaulted by D. Ware last week. There defense stinks. You have to remember the Texans are a miracle comeback and a missed feild goal from being 1-2. Say what you want about Bradkowski but he gets it done last year he beat cincy and the steelers before getting hurt. Small play on Oakland or stay away... You can get more value on the skins or jets.

HOUSTON is the play here. They are not as bad as everyone thinks. Gradowski is the main reason why the line is as close as it is.

Luis Murphy will be contained however.
